The call to discipleship

is a journey in our life with Christ
its living daily to the cross
A pilgrimage deep in our souls
every day a new start a new beginning
A day to bear fruit for Jesus
Even if its through hardship and pain

Maybe its not always easy to cross the lakes and the paths
but as long as we have God with us
the journey will not seem endless
and as though the way cannot be seen.

Jesus holds our hands
picks us up on our stumbling way
and takes us on and on ever upward
forward to the next new beginning.
