When I saw you hurt and bleeding

When I saw you hurt and bleeding,
The people passing by unheeding.
The hate of man so unyielding
All those people so unfeeling.

I saw the blood so bright and red,
That you for us so freely shed
To give us life not death.
How can we repay that dept

I saw your mother crying
When she saw you dying
I saw her eyes so full of pain
Though she know it wasn't in vain.

I saw your Father's love
When you went to heaven above.
The tomb is empty, you have risen
So mans sins could be forgiven.
