Can you look and really see

Can you look and really see
As she shuffles down the street
The spark she had in her eyes
Has almost died strangled by lies
Her life's in such a mess
Can you see her hopelessness

But there's something beautiful in the air
A sense of expectation in the air
Something wonderful is stirring
Starting spirits moving
There's a sense of Jesus in the air

Can you look and really see
Can you see the child
Crying on her own
Her mother and father left her
Her childhood left behind her
No one wants  to know her

But there's something beautiful in the air
A sense of expectation in the air
Something wonderful is stirring
Starting spirits moving
There's a sense of Jesus in the air

Can you look and really see
That man standing there.
His back is right against the wall
His lost his home, his love, his all,
He has no friends no freedom.
He needs to find a way home

But there's something beautiful in the air
A sense of expectation in the air
Something wonderful is stirring
Starting spirits moving
There's a sense of Jesus in the air
